The major monograph Howard Smith celebrates the farreaching practice of the multifaceted AfricanAmerican artist, designer, and collector who spent most of his creative life in Finland.Working with paper, pigments, wood, clay, textiles, and metal, Smith had both fine art and commercial practices.
