It’s almost time for Eid, the Muslim holiday celebrating the end of Ramadan. It’s a wonderful holiday with festive decorations, special foods, and family and friends getting together. But Eid won’t begin until the hard-to-see crescent moon is spotted. Sara and her younger sister, Lulu, are determined they will be the first to see the moon, and head outside at sunset to begin their watch. As the sky grows dark, it gets a little scary being out by themselves. Will they succeed in spotting the Eid moon?
